Cindy Oswin is a writer, actor and theatre director who has worked with many innovative theatre companies, including LaMama, Lumiere & Son, Rational Theatre and Scarlet Theatre. She has written and directed masques and entertainments for Shakespeare’s Globe, including the royal opening event. Her libretto for the opera ‘A Better Place’ by composer Martin Butler, was given its world premiere at the English National Opera.  Other work includes: ‘Cindy Oswin – On the Fringe’, a discrete collection of video interviews with theatre practitioners, from the sixties to the eighties, made in collaboration with the Sound Archive at the British Library.

Currently, Cindy is writing and performing her short stories.
